JMU DODGEBALL. PLAYGROUND NOSTALGIA. EAST COAST FLAVOR.
JMU Club Dodgeball is JMU's fastest growing club sport, and we are looking for players that are ready to compete on a collegiate level. If you are looking to come out to one of our practices, let us know!
Season
We compete in one round robin/tournament a month. JMU Club Dodgeball is a member of the NCDA, also known as the National Collegiate Dodgeball Association; there are no divisions, but teams as close as Richmond, and as far as Texas will look to schedule games, whether it be away or at home.
Practice
Please look at the Schedule tab to check out when we practice!
Tryouts
Our club is organized in order to accomodate a team around the size of 55-60 members. If there is a great demand of students that come to our interest meetings, and we don't have enough space on the team, we will look to schedule tryouts to keep the roster size at 55. For any students who do not make the roster, we will still hold a few open practices for anyone to come out and play.
Dues
Dues will be reconsidered every year depending on the amount of travel and activities the club has planned out for the year. This money will be used primarily for costs of travel, social gatherings, tournament fees, and screen printing of uniforms. Dues for the 2011-2012 season will be $45.00 for the year. Every tournament and match we play will require a small payment from the players that travel with the team to that event. This might be as little as $5.00 for a tourney closer (UMD) or as much as $20.00 if we travel to the mid-west.
